Workshop: 4WIN – a new model of success for crossorganisational mentoring programs
This presentation aims to share an insider’s perspective on the main ingredients for success in cross-organizational mentoring programs. Throughout my career I had the privilege of being both a mentee and a mentor in several national and international mentoring programs: My Odyssey, Equilibrium by the British Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic, PR Link, Polaris or The Enneagram in Business Network Mentoring for Associate Members. These programs are organized by multiple companies and / or trade associations, thus gaining a status of crossorganizational initiatives. The presentation aims to share a conclusion about what leads such programs to success: truly outstanding cross-organizational mentoring programs are, in my view, a matter of 4WIN or meeting the needs of 4 key stakeholders: the mentee, the mentor, the organizer and the ultimate beneficiary – the public served in the future by an empowered mentee. How to achieve such outstanding success? This will be the essence of my presentation.
What turns cross-organizational mentoring programs into an outstanding success? Meeting the needs of four key stakeholders, gathered under the model 4WIN.
